Andrew Ballitch (PhD, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) serves as one of the pastors of Westwood Alliance Church. His teaching and writing interests include church history, theology, and hermeneutics. Some of the most formative books in his life have been John Piper’s Don’t Waste Your Life, Helmut Thielicke’s A Little Exercise for Young Theologians, and William Perkins’s The Art of Prophesying. For fun he enjoys spending time with his family, travel, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He is married to Darcy and together they have three children, Lizzy, Etta, and Winston.

Michael Bowman is a member of Westwood Alliance Church where he serves in a teaching role in men’s group and small group settings. He received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Taylor University, a medical degree from Ohio State College of Medicine, and did his pediatric residency at Harbor UCLA Medical Center. After practicing as a board-certified general pediatrician in Southern California for over 30 years, he returned to his hometown Ohio area and received a master’s degree in Christian Ministry from Liberty University. He enjoys teaching the Old Testament Survey class through the lens that the biblical covenants are the backbone of Scripture, and progressive revelation through these covenants point to and culminate in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He has been influenced by God’s Kingdom through God’s Covenants by Peter Gentry and Stephen Wellum, and What Is Biblical Theology by James Hamilton Jr. He is married to Julie, and they have a combined seven children and fourteen grandchildren. They enjoy traveling to visit the grandchildren with a goal of leaving a legacy of faithfulness to the Lord.

Chris Davis is the founder and executive director of globalLead, which has trained over 28,000 ministry leaders from over 50 countries since 1996. He has a Doctor of Educational Ministry with an emphasis on Biblical Spirituality and Biblical Counseling and a Master’s degree in Christian Education. He mixes academic credentials with practical experience in his passion for serving national leaders and mobilizing them to lead themselves, their families, and others in ministry. In his spare time, Chris enjoys caring for his family (wife Penny and son Levi), playing and watching sports, reading, roasting coffee, and crocheting.

John Kitchen (DMin, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School) has been preaching God’s Word since 1981, pastoring three churches from the Midwest to the Middle East. He is now involved in a ministry of itinerant Bible teaching, writing, and mentoring. John is the author of fifteen books, mostly Bible commentaries and expositions of Scripture. He has been married to Julie for over forty years. Together they enjoy their three adult children, two daughters-in-law, and two granddaughters.

Luke Miller is blessed to be one of the pastors at Westwood Alliance Church, where he once served as an intern. His primary responsibility is overseeing and leading church worship. He received a bachelor’s degree from Moody Bible Institute, and is currently working on a master’s from Covenant Theological Seminary. Some of the most impactful books he’s read include Rhythms of Grace (Mike Cosper), The Imperfect Pastor (Zack Eswine), the pastoral letters of John Newton, and Communion with the Triune God (John Owen). Luke enjoys spending time his wife (Morgan) and son (Samuel), music, TV, coffee, books, nature, the NBA, and road trips.

Jeremy Muncy has had the privilege of being a pastor at Westwood Alliance Church for over a decade. He loves to preach and is passionate about training pastors and church members to treasure Christ, love their fellow believers, and engage lost people with the gospel. In his spare time, Jeremy enjoys coaching football, hunting, reading, and playing video games. He is married to his wife Jill and they have two children, Addie and Grady.
